Hotel tip: Vingerklip Lodge

The Vingerklip is located about 2.5 hours by car from Khorixas into the Damaraland.

The proximate lodge is named for this rock formation.

The lodge consists of a main building with restaurant, a pool area and a patio with a view into the endless landscape.

The bungalows with the particular rooms are distributed on the vast area of the lodge.
They all have got a bath or a shower and a WC.

A special tip: Take time to hike to the Vingerklip (each way will take about 45 minutes). The best time is sunset.

From here you can easily get to the rock carvings at Twyfelfontein, the organ pipes and the Petrified Forest.

The half board of the lodge contains a rich breakfast and good and solid plain fare for dinner.
