1st day Frankfurt – Johannesburg
Your trip to South Africa begins with your flight.
2nd day: Johannesburg – Livingstone
You will fly to Livingstone.
Livingstone
You will be taken from the airport to your hotel.
2 overnight stays at the Royal Livingstone, incl. breakfast.
The Royal Livingstone belongs to the famous hotel group Sun International. This 5-star hotel is located in the Mosi-o-Tunya National Park, which has a total size of 46 ha. You can go on foot to see the waterfalls. The rooms (altogether there are 173) are very comfortable. They are equipped with a bathroom or a shower/WC, balcony, telephone, TV, radio, air conditioning, fan, hairdryer, mini bar and safe. The hotel also provides a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool and a souvenir shop.
3rd day Livingstone
The natives of South Africa call the Victoria Falls “Mosi o Tunya” – thundering steam. The National Park of course is a must-see. There is a way along the opposite side of the Falls and the panorama from any viewpoint is fantastic! Right after the rains the water fills the full length of 1700 m and rushes down about 100 m into the canyon.
The small city Livingstone Falls offers numerous activities: e.g. a flight in a helicopter above the Falls, a boat trip on the Zambezi above the Falls or rafting beneath the Falls.
4th day Livingstone
You will be taken from the hotel to the airport.
Livingstone – Johannesburg
You will fly to Johannesburg.
Johannesburg – Sun City
When you have dealt with the immigration formalities and the clearing formalities you will be taken to your accommodation in Sun City.
2 overnight stays at The Palace

The hotel The Palace is the house of the highest quality in Sun City. The architecture shows a lot of fantasy. The buildings are surrounded by a garden that resembles the jungle with its rivers and waterfalls. The hotel has got 338 luxurious rooms.
5th day Sun City
You will have some time on your own: Sun City is South Africa’s Las Vegas! Apart from the casinos you will find many other leisure time activities. You can e.g. spend a part of the time at the Valley of Waves, a big swimming bath, or enjoy the white sandy beach at the Roaring Lagoon.
There are also two golf courses. You should make appointments for using them.
Another worthwile destination is the Pilanesberg National Park.
6th day Sun City – Hoedspruit
You will fly to Hoedspruit with South African Airlines.
Hoedspruit – Garonga
You will be taken to the Garonga Safari Camp where you will go on your first safari in South Africa in the afternoon.
3 overnight stays at the Garonga Safari Camp, incl. full board.
You will stay at beautiful lodge that can only house 12 guests. The rooms are generously equipped and provide you with a bath/WC and a sheltered exterior shower. Have you ever taken a shower beneath South Africa’s starry sky?
Here is your chance to try it – in the middle of the South African bush and yet private and sheltered! Every room also has its own patio which provides you with a view onto the (mostly dry) river bed.
Garonga is a place that invites you to relax. Here, you can just enjoy a morning in your hammock on your patio. A reflexology or an aroma therapy will help you to relax. A special offer for bold guests: Spend a night on a 4 m high platform in a tree in the South African bush. You will be alone, but very close to nature. You will have the Africa fever at the latest after this experience.
7th day Garonga
You will stay in the South African bush. Safaris are offered every day. In the mornings and in the afternoons you can go on safaris in an open Landrover. You can also go on a safari on foot with an experienced ranger – this is a special experience. Here, it’s not about seeing the “Big Five”, but smaller issues in the bush.
8th day Garonga
9th day Garonga – Hoedspruit
You will be taken to the Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit.
Hoedspruit – Cape Town
Flight to Cape Town with SAA.
Cape Town
When you arrive at Cape Town, your guide will already expect you and take you to your accommodation.
3 overnight stays at the Cape Grace

The Cape Grace is a very luxurious house at the port. It’s only a short way across a pedestrian bridge to the very core of the waterfront. The hotel’s 121 rooms are tastefully and generously equipped. The Cape Grace is famous for its very good service!
10th day Cape Town
Cape Town is with good reason considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The inner city area is defined by the famous Table Mountain, the Signal Hill and the Lion’s Head and the sea.
The South African city and its surroundings offer numerous activities. You have to go up to the Table Moutain, visit the waterfront and go on an excursion to the Cape of Good Hope, when you’re in Cape Town!
11th day A day out to the Cape of Good Hope
You will be collected between 8.30 an 9 a.m. from your accommodation. At first, you will go to the botanic garden in Kirstenbosch. Only South Africa’s native plants grow here. Afterwards, you will go to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. You can enjoy a splendid panorama onto the False Bay and the Hottentots Mountains after a small ascension at the end of the main road. You will have lunch in the Two Ocean Restaurant (You can pay in situ). On your way back to Cape Town, you will have a short break at the Boulders Beach. A colony of penguins is living here so that you can watch them from boardwalks. There will be other stops at the Hout Bay, Seapoint and the city centre. You will return to Cape Town at about 5 p.m.
12th day Cape Town – Gansbaai
You will be taken from Cape Town to the Grootbos Lodge
2 overnight stays at the Grootbos Lodge, incl. half board.
The Grootbos Lodge is located in its private nature reserve. You will live in well and generously equipped cottages. They are built from natural stone and wood and are distributed in a beautiful Fynboos garden. Every accommodation provides you with a splendid panorama onto South Africa’s landscape and the sea. This is a beautiful place to relax! But the cottage also offers numerous activities. A special highlight is whale watching (July – December).
13th day Gansbaai
The Grootbos Nature Reserve is one of the biggest private nature reserves in South Africa. The lodge offers different activities like guided hikes or drives through the reserve and to the coast or rides on horseback. Another option is just enjoying the silence and beauty of South Africa’s nature.
14th day Gansbaai – Cape Town
You will be taken to Cape Town’s airport so that you arrive there in time for your flight.
Cape Town – Frankfurt
