The Entabeni Game Reserve is a private, malaria free “big five” game reserve!

Entabeni means single mountain and is a “Big Five” reserve. It is located about 2,5 hours from Johannesburg by car. The journey already is an adventure. You will travel through mountains, over mountains, through deep red sand and pass little villages and fields.

This area around the Waterberg area is malaria free. Its appeal lies in the incredible diversity of the nature and the landscape.

Single mesas, veldts, free steppe and the Entabeni Lake picture the diverse African landscapes on a small area. 33 rangers will show you the big five and many other animals on trips in open landrovers.

Your accommodations are comfortable lodges or safari tents.

Lakeside Lodge:

Wildside tent camp:
Rustic tent camp with consolidated safari tents, bed, and so on. Shower, WC, fan, electricity, carpet, armchairs and cupboards. It is the perfect accommodation for people who want to experience the bush.
