Cape Town – Clarence House
Clarence Guest House is located in the leafy and up-market area of Cape Town/Claremont. It is a very central node to explore the highlights of the Cape Peninsula (Kirstenbosch Botancial Gardens, Constantia Winelands, Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, False Bay and the Atlantic Ocean).
The guest house is centrally situated and in walking distance to Cavendish Square, a luxurious shopping centre with many fine restaurants in and around the mall. Clarence House has a quiet position in a residential area but nonetheless with very easy access e.g. to go to the city centre and the V&A Waterfront in only a 15 minutes' drive by car. The Gay Village in the Waterkant is also only a 15 minutes' ride away.
The owners of the Clarence House, Freddy and Armin, manage the B&B personally. They care very much for their guests' need and understand their wishes even by reading from their lips. Both of them will assist you with best advice and help and will provide you with in-debth knowledge about the Cape Town Scenery.
At the guest house the guests have a choice of six rooms different in size and style (Standard, Superior and Suite). The rooms have private and modern-style bathrooms with mixer taps and amenities. The bedrooms have a queen size bed and a 3-quarter bed is available on request in the Superior and Suite category. Further equipment are TV-set with a satellite channel, radio, wireless internet access, telephone, digital mini safe, mini bar (Suite rooms), coffee and tea tray, hairdryer, heater and air conditioning (fan in Standard rooms) and an honesty bar is provided for the guests as well.
The Suite on the top floor has a wonderful view onto Table Mountain from its private indoor balcony. The other Suite has nice garden and pool views.
On the ground floor there are nicely decorated reception rooms, a covered outside patio e.g. for the breakfast and a lush and lovely garden with a pool and loungers to relax.
