Armin lives in Cape Town since 1999,
where he and Freddy
established Clarence Guest House in Cape Town. Now 47 years
young he is still amazed by South African wonders all around and specially in
nature, landscape, cultures and people.
Beside the guest house
activities Armin is representing Pink
Elephant Safaris and ITR-Reisen
in South Africa.
If required he turns into a personal
tour guide through the Cap and organizes and manages round trips in the
Western and Eastern Cape.
Furthermore he is a passionate home grown cook
and dishes all the delicacies wanted at Clarence House for their guests.
Originally from Switzerland
he grew up in the area of Basel
along the German Border. He studied economics at the University of Basel
and worked as a controller and consultant in Swiss Healthcare.
In his leisure time Armin
is exploring the hiking trails
around the Cape and is happy to give advice
and route description further to interested people. He is a runner as well, which is not really
surprising by knowing that the world famous Two Oceans Marathon passes their
Guest House every year at Easter time.
Freddy is the practical guy
and handyman in all occasions.
Nonetheless he gives best advice to all guests and assists them to make their
stay in South Africa
as easy and manageable as possible.
Both of them are our
personal travel guides and representatives for Pink Elephant Safaris und ITR
Reisen. There are doing tailor made day
tours and round trips and are assisting our South African visitors in every
effort and way.
